Over the last 10 years he has advised a wide range of lead insurers on the highest profile offshore wind, onshore wind and solar claims in the London insurance market. He advises on losses worldwide, and recent experience includes losses in the North Sea (English, Scottish, German, Belgian, Dutch and Danish sectors), Taiwan, Canada, United States and Mexico. Paul is legal representative to the LMA Onshore Renewables Sub-Committee and Joint Rig Committee Offshore Wind Sub-Committee, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Engineering Insurers (IMIA).
