Current Responsibilities
Matthew Begnaud is the US Upstream Energy Leader, Global Energy and Power at Marsh
Specialty, one of the leading specialty insurance brokerage groups in the world. Matthew
specializes in the Energy industry and has focused on this sector throughout his career.

Experience
Prior to joining Marsh, Matthew was Senior Vice President of Amwins’ Energy programs
division where he led the group in developing innovative products for their Upstream clients.
Before joining Amwins, he served as Vice President of a managing general underwriter
focused on providing unique solutions to the marine and energy industries. While there, he
developed specialized expertise in primary, control of well, property, and excess casualty for
the Upstream energy sector.
