Luis Miguel Echeverri is the Director of Risk & Insurance of TotalEnergies in North America, where he leads the insurance team which is responsible for the risk and insurance activity related to all business lines and technologies, including O&G, petrochem, manufacturing, and renewables operations.

TotalEnergies is a global integrated multi-energy company engaged in the production and supply of energy. Producer and supplier of energy: oil and biofuels, natural gas and green gases, renewables, and electricity.

Prior to TotalEnergies, Luis Miguel was the Sr. Director of Insurance for Enel North America for nine years.

Luis Miguel received a bachelor’s in economics and international business from ICESI University and a master’s in management from Harvard University. Luis Miguel serves as a teaching fellow at Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University where he is member of the teaching staff of the following graduate courses:  Strategic Management, Investing in Emerging Markets, Disrupting Economics, and Hedge Funds.
