Dr. Megen F. Maginot is a Senior Consultant in Metallurgy at Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi), with deep expertise in the maintenance and reliability of aging oil and gas infrastructure. Her career spans topsides facility engineering, drilling engineering, pipeline integrity, and corrosion control, with hands-on experience in ASME-compliant design, commissioning, and operation of systems such as shale wells, offshore platforms, sweetening systems, and plugging and abandoning wells.

Dr. Maginot has implemented facility inspection programs, led emergency repairs, and designed new installations for both onshore upstream and midstream facilities. Her work integrates root cause analysis, incident management, regulatory documentation, and lifecycle project management—from hazard analysis and safety reviews to end of life tail-end risks.
