David Claiborne is a Vice President within Alliant’s Marine & Energy Practice, responsible for growing and managing a broad range of upstream, service contractors, and transportation companies.

David, who’s based in Houston, has more than 10 years of insurance experience. Prior to joining Alliant, he was a Vice President focused on Energy at another large global brokerage, where he oversaw the placement and management of all size domestic upstream and oil field service companies.

He received his Bachelors degree from Texas Tech University. David grew up splitting time between West Texas and Houston and has been around the energy business most of his life.
